Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Kissimmee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Kissimmee is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

After dinner in Celebration, we decided to stroll around town and pick up a couple of desserts to take home. We chose a slice of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate caramel cake. The display case looked amazing, and both desserts were picture-perfect, so we were excited to dig in. The carrot cake frosting was the highlightβsmooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the cake itself was a disappointment. It didn't taste anything like traditional carrot cake and had a strange aftertaste that neither of us enjoyed. Definitely a pass for us. As for the chocolate caramel cake, it was incredibly dry. You'll need a full glass of milk just to get through a slice without feeling like you're choking. At nearly $7 per slice, we expected much better quality. The bakery offered a great variety of desserts, but based on what we tried, the taste simply didn't match the presentation or the price point. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. One additional note: seating is very limited, so plan accordingly if you're hoping to enjoy your dessert there.

This grocery storeβs bakery section honestly deserves its own review because the quality stands out every single time we visit. The bread tastes fresh, pastries stay soft and flavorful, and seasonal desserts always look beautifully prepared without seeming overly processed. Compared to standard grocery store bakeries nearby, the freshness and variety here are noticeably better overall. We especially appreciate that the bakery staff is willing to answer questions and offer recommendations depending on what weβre buying for different occasions. Itβs become nearly impossible for us to leave the store without picking up at least one dessert or loaf of bread.

We went in very late after we had our late dinner at the upper crust pizza. We were feeling like to have some sweets or desserts. This shop was like next door! We went in and saw far too many desserts to choose from. They had chocolates; strawberries, lemon, orange, pistacio ( i think) coffee and many other fresh types of sweets. They also had some crossoints. Everything was very beautiful.

Such a great find in Kissimmee! The baked goods were super fresh and everything tasted like it was just made. The coffee was honestly some of the best Iβve had in the area βοΈ You have to try the latte tiramisu drink β it was AMAZING. Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely coming back for that again!
